About Re-Organize Bowling!

Re-Organize Bowling was created as a place for you to read about my thoughts and feelings on organized bowling.  Which, by the very title of this blog, you should be able to conclude that “organized” bowling isn’t very organized.  My main Goal is to get people to not only read and understand what I have to say, but for upper-level bowling executives in both the PBA and USBC to read, understand, and then act upon what I write.  Following my precise directions on how to re-organize the sport is their only realistic option for survival.  Failiure to comply, or ignoring me completely, will keep organized bowling spinning down the drain, until it’s through the pipes and into the sewer system.

I’ve created an FAQ that answers some of your questions:

Q: Who are you?
A: My name is exbowler, and I am an ex-bowler. Which means I used to bowl, but not anymore, for both physical and political issues.

Q: No, I mean “Who are YOU?” as in “Who the HELL are you to make comments about how bowling should operate?”
A: It’s called the internet, and it’s called WordPress.  Therefore, I get to say whatever the hell I want to say.  I am also far more intelligent and internet-savvy than anyone sitting high a top bowling’s executive chain of command, therefore I feel it is my duty to clog up your bandwidth with my ramblings. If you don’t like it, that’s tough shit – start your own blog about how much you hate my blog.

Q: So, what’s your “master plan” for Re-Organizing Bowling?
A: I’m not going to just hand over my knowledge like that! That’s why I created a blog, so I can post whatever part of bowling I need to rant about whenever I feel like it.  The good news is I have a lot to say, so I’d add this blog to your Google Reader, your Favorites, or just come check this site every once in a while.

Q: Why did you quit bowling?
A: I like to say that I have “retired” from bowling, which means I can un-retire at anytime I feel like.  I am a very busy young man, and bowling itself is not even a minor blip on my radar at this time.  Bitching about bowling is a different story – I always find time for that, and it’s much more enjoyable to do.

Q: I really hate people like you; people that create blogs only to complain about stuff.  If you really cared, you’d do something about it.
A: I AM DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT, and it’s pure genius I tell ya.  By creating this blog, and the subsequent popularity over it, I am doing the best possible thing – filling up search engine query results with links to my various blog posts, in hopes that not only the bowling community can read it, high-level bowling executives can read it as well.  What do you want me to do, drive up to Greendale, WI or Seattle, WA, and bang on their doors yelling and screaming until they let me in and hear what I have to say?  They’d have me thrown off the premises, and it wouldn’t do any good.  Creating a blog creates a permanent record on the internet of their complete ineptitude up to this point in time.

Q: What would qualify you to run a bowling organization?
A: I’m glad you asked.  I:
1. Am more intelligent than anyone who is currently sitting on their hands…i mean, “running” bowling;
2. Have leadership and management training, including military school;
3. Have an acute case of OCD, which makes me the perfect candidate to re-organize things, which I do for fun on the weekends (I like to clean and re-organize things as a hobby…no I’m not kidding);
4. Am in the internet marketing industry and I am completely involved with all of the latest online advertising trends, which is better than roughly 99.9% of all bowling executives and leaders.

Q: What can I do help?
A: You can keep reading and visiting this site, and tell all of your bowling friends and league buddies about it. Remember, this blog is not just some self-serving piece of e-crap – this can help and affect YOU.  I definitely cannot do it alone, it requires for YOU to make the blog what it will become.

Q: Are you going to be interviewing anyone in the bowling industry?
A: I sure would like to.  Anyone in the bowling industry reading? Contact me to get interviewed. We can do it over Email or even over the phone, and I can post the transcript here.
